The left foot plays pre-recorded songs, while pressing the right foot starts a recording - the playback quality isn’t great, but it’s still funny for toddlers.

My 15-month-old, my 3-year-old, and my 6-year-old grandkids all love this toy!

This plush hippo is so cute. It sings songs., repeats words and moves with music. The size is perfect for my nephew, at first he was super scared of it but after the music turned on he relaxed and started to enjoy it. Patience is key as the little one adapts. Wonderful toy !!!

The Talking Singing Animal Toy is extremely cute, and it's fun for my four-year-old grandson. The movement is especially entertaining. The wiggling hippo and turtle take turns singing to each other. It's rather engaging to watch, even for adults. It's also nice for a parent or grandparent to leave a message that the child can listen to while the parent/grandparent is gone. The sound quality is tinny and harsh to my ears, but my grandson seems fine with it. It seems to be solidly constructed, and up to the task of being treated carelessly by small hands. The battery compartment is screwed down, so a child won't unexpectedly open it. Overall, this is an extremely entertaining toy for adults and children. It's a decent value for a well-constructed, and fun toy.

This might be the cutest toy ever -- and it truly is interactive! The hippo holding the turtle is cute to start with, but they sing to each other! The music is audible but not annoyingly loud, and there's also a recorder so you can record messages and have them play back to your little one. This will quickly become some child's favorite toy. Just adorable!

It also has a recorder to record what you say and to play back. The plush fur doesn't shed easily. This is a cute and fun interactive toy for baby to play with.
