The bear repeats you, then the owl repeats you, and they go back and forth. It’s such a fun and interactive detail that makes it even more entertaining. I've been playing with this interactive singing bear for a bit, and it's super soft plush – really cuddly, the kind you just want to squeeze. Super cute too, that classic teddy look. I didn't see it listed anywhere, but, it has four songs built in: Old MacDonald (I recorded a video of this one), If You're Happy and You Know It, Bingo, and Knick Knack Paddywhack. They play clear enough for a kid's toy, nothing tinny or distorted. The recording function is actually pretty good – you press the button, talk or sing into it, and it plays back your voice in its own voice. Fun for messing around or letting a little one "sing along". Only real issue is the batteries – it takes AAA, but the listing said AA. Had to dig out different ones, which was annoying since I already had AAs ready. Still, it's a sweet little plush that does what it promises. Cute and interactive without being annoying. Been a hit so far.
