Pros - playmat is a good size, and great for tummy time if placed on something soft like a rug or a blanket or towel. It alone on the floor is a bit too hard for the baby. Additional pros is that it is easy to assemble and offers a variety of toys. Cons - the colors on the play matt are very dull and light. Not a lot of contrast to keep the baby interested. The toys that hang above the matt are all the same colors but slightly different shapes. Nothing again high contrast to keep the baby interested. The MUSIC is let me just say strange. You have your baby tunes and then you have Tchaikovsky, Mozart and other complicated classical pieces. Which isn't bad but there isn't a soft flow from one to another and most melodies are not just calm they are straight up very sad. Lastly - the sound is SUPER quiet and your only option to regulate sound is no sound, very quite or just quite. You can barely hear the music or the additional animal and weather sounds. This playmat is not worth it when you can get something else.
